As philosophers we often struggle to get our bearings.  We know what ‘true north’ is but forget to check our compass to ensure we are headed in the right direction. Marcus Aurelius, a Roman Emperor of the second century was arguably one of the most powerful people of his time. He wrote his ‘Meditations’, not with the intent for public consumption, but as personal journal where he ‘reminded’ himself on how to faces the vicissitudes of life and meet daily struggles. Join us as we explore the text and see what lessons it may have for  us as we try to find our way through the world.
